We will visit a charming Dominican family who will guide you through the entire process — from planting and harvesting to extraction — while you enjoy a rare tasting of natural organic cacao.
The journey continues along the stunning northern beaches of Las Terrenas: El Portillo, Playa Alemán, and Playa Morón. Take time to swim in crystal-clear waters, go snorkeling, relax under the sun, and capture breathtaking photos in truly paradise-like settings.

We love families and are delighted to create lasting memories for them. To protect your children, we have clear policies for every tour. On this tour, the minimum age for children is 16 years old. Children have to be sharing a quad with one of their parents.

Pets are not allowed.

We recommend bringing sun protection (cloth/cream), sunglasses, a towel, and sandals.

How we spend the day

Please find below the details of the excursion. Bear in mind that the listed hours are approximations and might change due to traffic. Any delays will be communicated via mail or phone.

Meeting point

We will start our journey at the parking of the Punta Popy beach.

Cocoa plantation

The first part of the tour leads us to Limón. To get there, we will ride the quads through forest paths. Close to Limón we will make a stop in the cocoa plantation to learn about the cultivation of the cocoa and if you like, you can try different products.

Beaches & Lunch

Next we will follow the trails to different beaches like Playa Moron, Playa Estillero, Playa Portillo. Around Lunch time we will make a stop at a genuine dominican restaurant where we will enjoy typical local food.

Return journey

After all those great experiences we will drive back to Punta Popy where we started the journey.
